Quizzes are short and completely free — 8 to 18 questions, scored instantly, no payment ever required. Questionnaires go much deeper: most run well over 80 questions across many sections, with the first section free and full access unlocked for a one-time $99 payment. Only questionnaires are eligible for optional AI Analysis.

Yes — you can browse what's available without one, but answering a quiz or questionnaire (even the free parts) requires a free account. Creating an account never costs anything, and no payment is needed until you choose to unlock a full questionnaire.

Yes, always. Every quiz on Clarity4Couples is free from start to finish, with no purchase required — including your results.

The first section of every questionnaire is always free, so you can feel the depth and tone before committing. Unlocking a full questionnaire costs $99, which also includes 3 AI Analysis credits to get you started. If you use those up, additional AI Analysis credits are available in packs of 5 for $49.

Yes — Section 1 of every questionnaire is free to complete. You'll see the remaining sections once you unlock full access, and your progress is saved so you can return anytime.

An optional membership ($9.99/mo or $99/yr) enables storage and long-term tracking of your completed quizzes and questionnaires over time, including across different partners. It's not required to take a quiz or questionnaire once — it's for people who want to revisit their history later.

Yes. From your dashboard, choose "Gift access" on a questionnaire and enter your recipient's email. You pay full price now, and they get an email with a link to sign up or log in and claim it for free. Some questionnaires ask a few quick yes/no questions before you can gift them, to help make sure gifting is appropriate for the situation.

There's no need to — every quiz is already free for anyone to take. Gifting only applies to paid questionnaires.

Choose the Partner-Use version from your dashboard and enter their email. They'll get an invite to answer it themselves — answering is free for them, since you've already covered the cost. Nothing is shared automatically: you'll only see their answers once they choose to submit and approve sharing.

You may request a refund, no questions asked, within 24 hours of your purchase. See our Terms of Service for full details. You can request it yourself from Settings > Billing: within the 24-hour window a “Request refund” button appears next to the purchase. If you don't see it, or something looks wrong, email support@clarity4couples.com and a real person will take care of it.

Yes, from Settings > Account. Changing your email requires confirming a verification code sent to the new address before it takes effect.

Yes, from Settings > Account. Deactivating keeps your questionnaire answers, AI summaries, and purchase history safely stored — logging back in lets you reactivate and restores full access immediately. If you want your account permanently deleted instead, email support@clarity4couples.com.

Your full order history, including payment status, is available under Settings > Billing.

Every Clarity4Couples account requires a TOTP authenticator app (like Google Authenticator or Authy) to help keep your private reflections secure. You'll be asked to set one up the first time you sign in if you haven't already.

There's no self-service reset for this yet. Email support@clarity4couples.com and we'll clear your authenticator setup so you can enroll a new one and sign back in.

Go to Settings > Billing and choose "Manage subscription" — this opens Stripe's secure billing portal, where you can update payment details or cancel anytime.

Yes. Your responses are encrypted so that only you can access them directly, unless you choose to share them with someone else.

If you purchase the AI analysis, your answers are anonymized and submitted to our AI model provider. Each questionnaire has its own customized, proprietary AI prompt, which is run against your answers to generate a personalized summary based solely on what you shared.

No. It's meant for personal reflection and insight, not as a diagnosis, treatment, or substitute for professional therapy or counseling. If you're navigating something serious, please reach out to a licensed professional.

Not yet — printing and exporting isn't available today, but it's on our roadmap. For now, your answers and summaries stay saved in your account and are always viewable there.
